Asheville North Carolina

Prior to our wedding we stayed in Asheville for a few days. The wedding venue was only about a 45 minute drive from Asheville up into the mountains. Asheville was such a great place to stay and had everything we needed for last minute errands and was also really relaxing and peaceful at the same time. We rented a cabin only about 10 minutes out of town that felt more like it was in the middle of nowhere, I would definitely stay here again but be warned the road in is quite steep. Here are some photos of the Elkhorn Cabin-

such a perfect mountain house!

This staircase blew me away, the balustrade is made of tree branches, also completely glamorous dishing going on in the kitchen. There was a Bible quote carved into the wood above the living/dining area
"He restoreth my soul"

Asheville was so beautiful and green, this balcony made us feel like we where in a tree house

I loved that this guy was outside protecting us from the other bears :)

Our stay was so amazing! My grandparents, aunty, cousin and sister were with us and there was plenty of room (3 floors!). Complete with ping pong table and super comfy beds.

This is a view from the property across the road, looking out over Asheville - perfection
Quick selfie after my hair and makeup trial! Yes wearing my wedding ring.. I didn't want to loose it :P

Attempted couples selfie!

While in town I had a manicure, pedicure, spray tan and massage (pre wedding prep! not an everyday thing for me!) at the Secret Spa. I can't speak highly enough of the staff there, they were all really kind a great at what they do!

I'd also recommend Farm Burger for lunch, sooo good!
