David Babaii for WILDAID

These hair products are a collaboration between David Babaii and the lovely Kate Hudson. The little motto is 'it's beautiful to be good'. I'm not sure what percentage of the profits or proceeds actually make it to Wildaid but I suppose every little bit counts. I've tried three products from the line, the Hydrating Shampoo, Hydrating Conditioner and the Bohemian Beach Spray. In Australia I think that the products are outrageous over priced for what they are. In the US the shampoo and conditioner retail for $9.95 and here, in Australia, they are around the $23 mark. But overall I really like the products. The list of ingredients sounds really exotic and natural, dead sea salt, cupuacu butter from the Amazon, wild orchid, blue algae extract, volcanic ash, jojoba oil, shea butter, and hemp oil. They smell great, very tropical and summery. I like that they are sulfate and paraben free. Most sulfate free shampoos don't lather up well at all, this is not one of those. It feels exactly the same as a regular shampoo. Which is great if you have hair extensions but still like the feel of the lather. Before you lather it up it does feel really sticky and thick. The conditioner is nothing special, but it does its job. And whilst I like the bohemian beach spray my hair is still too dry for it at the moment so it ends up a big tangled mess when I use it. I have enjoyed the summery scent the most, to me it smells like pineapples. I just love summer time....
